Price of European Stainless Steel Cable Trays

Custom stainless steel cable trays in Europe typically range from €50 to €300 per meter, depending on material grade, size, and customization requirements.

Material and Specifications

Stainless steel cable trays are commonly available in grades 304 and 316, with 316 offering higher corrosion resistance for harsh environments such as offshore, marine, or chemical industries. Standard widths range from 50 mm to 900 mm, and heights from 25 mm to 125 mm, but most European manufacturers can produce custom dimensions to meet specific project requirements. Trays are offered in light, medium, and heavy-duty designs, including straight edge, return flange, and wire basket types.

Pricing Factors

The cost of custom trays depends on several factors: Material grade: 316 stainless steel is more expensive than 304 due to higher corrosion resistance. Tray size: Wider and taller trays require more material, increasing the price. Customization: Special lengths, bends, tees, or unique designs can add to the cost.

Quantity: Bulk orders often receive discounts, while small custom runs may have higher per-unit costs. Supplier and delivery: Lead times, shipping, and regional pricing differences across Europe can affect the final price.

Supplier Options

Several European suppliers provide custom stainless steel cable trays: Electrix International: Offers medium to heavy-duty trays, custom designs, and discounts for direct purchases. Custom trays can be delivered in as little as 7 working days.

Practical Advice

For accurate pricing, it is recommended to: Specify material grade, dimensions, and load requirements. Request a direct quote from multiple suppliers to compare costs. Consider lead times for custom fabrication, especially for large or complex projects.

Check for bulk discounts if ordering multiple meters or large quantities. By providing detailed specifications to suppliers, you can obtain precise pricing and ensure the trays meet your project's technical and regulatory requirements.
