Fully Equipped ODF Patch Panel Rack Type

ODF patch panels are available in rack-mount, wall-mount, and modular configurations, designed to manage fiber connections efficiently in data centers, telecom rooms, and enterprise networks.

Rack-

Mount ODFsRack-mount ODFs are the most common type for high-density deployments. They typically conform to 19-inch or 23-inch standards and come in heights from 1U to 4U, accommodating 12 to 288 ports depending on the model and connector type (LC, SC, FC, ST, or MPO/MTP). These racks are ideal for data centers, telecom central offices, and enterprise network closets, providing structured fiber termination, cross-connection, and patching capabilities.

FeaturesHigh-density support: 96+ LC duplex ports in 1U, up to 720 ports in floor-standing frames. Sliding or fixed trays: Sliding trays allow rear access without removing the panel from the rack, while fixed trays are more cost-effective. Integrated splice trays: Protect fiber splices and maintain proper bend radius.

Cable management: Bend-radius-compliant channels, snap-in adapter plates, and routing guides.

Wall-

Mount ODFsWall-mount ODFs are compact units suitable for telecom rooms, small offices, or building entry points. They are designed for lower fiber counts and limited floor space, typically supporting 12 to 96 ports. These units are ideal for FTTH deployments or small enterprise networks, providing easy access for patching and maintenance.

FeaturesSpace-saving design: Mounted directly on walls to conserve floor space. Modular expansion: Can accommodate additional patch panels or splice trays as needed. Environmental protection: Some models are weatherproof for outdoor or semi-outdoor installations.

Modular and High-

Density ODFsModular ODFs are scalable systems that allow network growth without replacing the entire frame.

High-density OD

Fs integrate MPO/MTP adapters for multi-fiber connections, supporting 400G/800G data center links. These are suitable for large-scale data centers or carrier networks where fiber counts can reach hundreds or thousands.

Features

Scalable trays: Add or remove trays to match fiber count requirements.

MP

O integration: Supports 12–24 fibers per port for high-speed links. Centralized management: Combines large-scale ODF management with localized patch panel flexibility.

Summary

Choosing the right ODF patch panel rack type depends on deployment scale, fiber count, and space constraints: Rack-mount: High-density, data centers, enterprise closets. Wall-mount: Small setups, FTTH, limited space. Modular/high-density: Scalable, carrier networks, large data centers.

All types provide structured fiber management, protection for splices and connectors, and efficient patching, ensuring network reliability and ease of maintenance.
