C fiber optic patch cord (also called a fiber jumper) is a short optical fiber cable with connectors on both ends, used to connect devices such as transceivers, patch panels, switches, or routers. Unlike backbone trunk cables, patch cords are flexible, reusable, and typically range from 0. 5 meters to 100 meters in length.
